Bargains! Get your bargains here!
The idea wasn’t to start posting offers and bundles until the project began, but when is it NOT a good time for some great deals?
At the time of writing we’re seeing two of the most important sales the indie market has, for these deals move A LOT of units. They’re both computer-based, so those of you wishing for some console gaming will have to hold on for a bit longer. But right now there are some bargains to be made!
Humble Indie Bundle
Without any sort of hint as to when these are going to appear the Humble Indie Bundle frequently offer a pack of indie games that holds some great titles. They offer this package at the amazing price of “Pay What You Want”, meaning if you’re cheap and only wish to pay 1 cent you’re free to do so. You’re an douche, but you’re still free to do so. They also publish other bundles, such as The Humble Indie Music Bundle and Humble THQ Bundle.
Steam Holiday Sale 2012
Every December we see this sale return, and every year our bank accounts quiver in fear, for they know that it will be drained of much content. Among discounts that run the entire length of the sale there are “flash deals” that offer both indie and AAA-titles for a few hours before rolling out new ones. Both the flash deals and continuous discount range from 10% all the way up to 75%. If you’ve got a Steam account you should really check it out. If you don’t, you should really get a Steam account and check it out.
Aside from these two you’ll see other deals throughout the project and they’ll be gathered in the Deals category. So enjoy and happy gaming.
