You may be thinking Minecraft when you should be thinking Portal. Steve Swink – whom works as a teacher in Phoenix on weekdays – does not shy away from Valve’s brilliant game being a source of inspiration. Even if the gun in Scale doesn’t shoot portals – it manipulates the size of objects in the 3d world.

Manipulating the size of things, or even worlds, is a pretty imaginative mechanic if used correctly.
Looking at the trailer Scale has awesome potential for fractal levels, meaning that an item can contain a level which contains an item which contains a level and so on. We can’t wait to play around with this and we sincerely hope that the puzzles are as clever as they have the potential to be.
